The Canary portable air monitor plugs into the wall outlets in your home. After a day in one room, it is moved to another room and, after another day, the air monitor is moved to a third room. (A bedroom, living room and the basement are usually sufficient to measure the most significant living areas of the home.)

At the end of 3 days, our licensed air quality professional will return to your home and connect the air monitor to a laptop and the internet.

The air monitor analyzes 6 key air quality factors for each room recognized as critical by the Canadian Healthy Indoors Partnership (HIP):

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Carbon Dioxide
  • Carbon Monoxide
  • Particulates
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)

From the analysis, the Canary software generates a password-protected report, highlights areas of concern and recommendations. Our air quality professional reviews the summary report for your home and discusses the recommendations for further actions.
