The Developer Reduction System (DRS") is an advanced filtration system that reduces developer usage in film and plate processors by a minimum of 50% without affecting the film quality. The DRS uses bromide ion exchange cartridges to slow developer oxidation and keep the bromides in the processor developer bath at the correct level. With the developer properly balanced, less replenishment is required to produce film at the optimum quality level.
